Creating a community of good health for all
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is proud to partner with dozens of dedicated organizations to improve the health of our community, our state and beyond. These investments in our neighbors’ health address what the latest Franklin County HealthMap identified as our community’s greatest areas of need: mental health and addiction, income/poverty and maternal and infant health. Ohio State provides services to address these needs in underserved areas as well as throughout the broader community. In central Ohio and beyond, we’re also committed to improving the social determinants of health – those qualities of a community that help predict the long-term health of its residents. Social determinants of health include neighborhood, income, housing, education, transportation and access to health care and nutritious food.
