Note: Services have been suspended

At The Ohio State University and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we’re continually monitoring and updating our response to the COVID-19 virus. We continue to align our recommendations with and follow guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and other city, state and federal agencies. In our efforts to be proactive and maintain the health and safety of our faculty, staff and the community, we’ve made the decision to suspend operations of the Community Care Coach.

Health care right in your neighborhood

The Community Care Coach looks like a bus on the outside but inside you'll find a doctor’s office with exam rooms, doctors, nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals. Our coach is a walk-in center. No appointments are necessary. Just check out our schedule and find the date and location that’s most convenient for you.

The OSU Community Care Coach accepts all patients regardless of ability to pay. We accept Medicaid, Medicare and all major insurances.

Our Mission

As a leading academic medical center, and part of a land grant institution, it is part of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's mission, history and vision to care for the communities we serve by building and supporting healthy communities. By providing more care outside of the hospital, we can make care more convenient and comfortable. This unit joins the university’s fleet of mobile health and education units: including dental, mammography and a mobile kitchen.
