COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will administer its 100,000th COVID-19 vaccine on Friday at the Jerome Schottenstein Center.

Media are invited to attend the celebration and witness this vaccine being administered. Media should arrive at the Northeast Rotunda entrance no later than 11:15 a.m. Parking is available in Scarlet 3 and Scarlet 4 lots, near the Jack Nicklaus Museum.

“We’re extraordinarily proud of our team for their hard work and commitment to vaccinating our frontline workers and community,” said Ryan Haley, senior director of ambulatory operations. “Our focus continues to be on protecting the health of the community so that we can finally overcome COVID-19, and this milestone is an exciting and important step in achieving that.”

With this milestone reached, Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center will have given more doses of the COVID-19 vaccine in Franklin County than any other vaccine provider.
