COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will conduct a symposium that focuses on the care of endurance athletes and their injuries on Friday (4/29) from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Biomedical Research Tower, 460 W. 12th Avenue.

Hosted by OSU Sports Medicine, the symposium will address medical, surgical, psychological and nutritional management for endurance athletes, as well as rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies. Additionally, there will be a live demonstration of a bike fitting. 

Cindy Chang, MD, will be the keynote speaker for the symposium. Chang is recognized as one of the leading primary care sports medicine physicians in the country. She will speak about overtraining and her experiences as the doctor to Team USA for the 2012 London Olympics.
