COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will conduct a symposium that focuses on the care of endurance athletes and their injuries on Friday (4/28) from 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the Biomedical Research Tower, 460 W. 12th Avenue.
 
Hosted by OSU Sports Medicine, the symposium will address medical, surgical, psychological and nutritional management for endurance athletes, as well as rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies. 
 
Edward Laskowski, MD, will be the keynote speaker for the symposium. Laskowski is the co-director of the Sports Medicine Center at Mayo Clinic and served as a medical provider for the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.
