COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will hold its 19th annual Healthy Community Day Saturday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Outpatient Care East, 543 Taylor Ave. The event will feature free health expertise from more than 50 organizations.
Health screenings and consultations will be provided by experts from Ohio State’s Wexner Medical Center, including:
- Blood pressure
- Blood glucose
- Cholesterol
- Hearing and vision
- Breast exams
- Foot care
- Health, weight and body mass index (BMI)
- Food and nutrition
- Smoking cessation
- Sports physicals
- Medication review
- Stroke awareness
- Dental
On-site registration, available until 1 p.m., is required for the screenings. Free refreshments, activities, giveaways and live entertainment will be available for the entire family.
