COLUMBUS, Ohio – Experts from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and partners are hosting a rally and march to raise awareness and educate the public on issues of sexual violence, and to offer support and empower survivors.

“Take Back the Night” will commence on Wednesday (Sept. 30) at 7 p.m. in the Alonso Family Room at The Ohio State University’s Student Life Multicultural Center, located at 1739 N. High Street.

Throughout the event, tables will feature information from local co-sponsors about community services available to survivors of sexual violence. In addition, survivors of sexual violence and other speakers will discuss the topic during the “Speak Out.”

At 8:30 p.m., a silent candlelight march will forge through the South Oval to Mirror Lake, and over to Browning Amphitheatre where the vigil will continue.
