COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center will hold its 12th annual Community Day on Saturday (6/16) at CarePoint East, 543 Taylor Avenue, which will feature free health screenings from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The health screenings will be provided by experts from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and will include blood sugar, cholesterol, blood pressure, lung function, BMI, prostate, breast exams and sports physicals. On-site registration, available until 1:30 p.m., is required for the screenings inside the lobby at CarePoint East.
Media are invited to cover the health fair, which will feature more than 35 community health organizations covering topics such as diabetes, epilepsy, nutrition, cancer and more. Free activities will also be available for the whole family, including live entertainment, face painting and line dancing.
