COLUMBUS, Ohio – Experts from The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center’s Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology are joining the global V-Day campaign to raise awareness about violence against women and girls as well as sexual health issues.

Eve Ensler’s “The Vagina Monologues” will be presented at 7 p.m. Feb. 26-28 in the auditorium of Ohio State Wexner Medical Center’s Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital, 452 W. 10th Ave.

Tickets are $8 in advance at tinyurl.com/vagina2015, or can be purchased at the door for $10 – cash only.

Members of the media are invited to attend the presentations and can park in the SAFEAUTO Garage, adjacent to the Ross Heart Hospital.

Proceeds will benefit the Sexual Assault Response Network of Central Ohio (SARNCO), a sexual violence intervention and prevention program serving Franklin County, which strives to empower survivors and co-survivors of sexual and relationship violence.

Medical students from Ohio State’s College of Medicine, as well as undergraduate students, nurses, resident and attending physicians, and community members will participate in the performances.

A grant from the OSU Medical Alumni Endowment Program is supporting this project.
