COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is temporarily relocating its Emergency Department entrance. 

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is temporarily relocating its Emergency Department entrance to the north side of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.Beginning Tues., Jan. 28, patients and visitors will enter the Emergency Department on the north side of The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute.

The temporary Emergency Department entrance is located off West 12th Ave. between the Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute and Harding Hospital. Patient pick-up and drop-off will take place here. Parking is available in the 12th Ave. garage at 340 West 12th Ave. 

There will be no change to emergency medical services access via West 12th Ave. 

The temporary Emergency Department entrance will support the ongoing construction of the new inpatient tower. The change will be in place through fall 2025.
