COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is sponsoring the Ohio State Burn Center’s third annual Blaze the Trail run, which will take place on Sunday, April 29 at 9 a.m. at Ohio State’s Recreation and Physical Activity Center (RPAC), 337 W. 17th Avenue.
The event is held to celebrate lives saved, honor lives lost and raise funds for fire safety and burn prevention education through Ohio State’s Burn Center Development Fund. Proceeds from the event go to burn survivors and their families to assist with incurred expenses. Funds also support the annual Burn Survivor Family Camp and monthly support groups.
Participants can choose to complete a 5K run or the Family Fun 2K walk. Registration begins at 8 a.m. and is required for all participants. For more information or to register for the event, go to go.osu.edu/blaze12.
