COLUMBUS, Ohio – A veteran’s recognition ceremony will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday (11/9) in the auditorium of the Davis Heart and Lung Research Institute to honor staff members of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center and The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center – Arthur G. James Cancer Hospital and Richard J. Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC-James), who have or are actively serving in the military.

Eligible staff will receive a medallion identifying them as a veteran. After the event, the veterans will visit patients and pin those who have also served in the military.

The Franklin Heights High School NJROTC and The Ohio State University ROTC will be helping with the pinning ceremony.

Veteran’s Day is Sunday, Nov 11.
