Angela Emerson, MPH, is the Clinical Research Manager for the Stanley D. and Joan H. Ross Center for Brain Health and Performance. In this role she works closely with the Director of the Center and collaborating researchers to develop, implement, and coordinator all aspects of Center research projects.

Her research interests include improving brain function for clinical populations, finding alternatives to opiates for chronic pain, and health information literacy. 

She has over five years of experience working in public health and neuroeducational research at Vanderbilt University.  Her expertise includes functional neuroimaging experimental design and analysis, cognitive experimental design and analysis, research processes improvement, and big data research management. 

Angela holds a master’s degree in Public Health with a focus in Health Education from the University of Cincinnati and a bachelor’s degree in Biology from The Ohio State University.
