About Me

I became an obstetrician-gynecologist because I am passionate about empowering my patients to make reproductive health decisions based on their unique needs. I make it a priority to educate my patients about all of their health care options and ensure they are actively involved at every stage of their care. It’s a privilege to be able to support my patients through life-changing events and I value the relationships we’re able to build.

I specialize in managing both normal and complicated pregnancies. I provide evidence-based gynecologic, preventive, contraceptive, and gender-affirming care. I also care for patients who’ve experienced a miscarriage and treat conditions like abnormal bleeding and sexually transmitted infections.

At Ohio State, I love that I have the opportunity to help medical students and residents learn and grow at such a formative stage. From bedside teaching to health care policy discussions and career advice, working with learners is a highly rewarding part of my job at Ohio State.

In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog, baking, and reading.

I am very grateful to have gotten an appointment to establish care with Dr. Kerestes in such a timely manner. I had a very poor experience In the OSU ED prior to my visit with her. My condition had worsened significantly while waiting for an appointment and I was very scared. She was very understanding listened attentively to my concerns. She recommended she address my concern with a procedure in the office or informed me I would have to go to an OR. I am so grateful she completed the procedure in her office and that I can return for follow-up care.

Dr. K was amazing. This was my first time seeing her and I am so glad that I made the switch before turning to a fertility clinic. Dr. K was well versed in my medical history, explained all of my options to me in a way that I understood, and made sure to answer any questions or hesitancies that I had. I felt validated throughout my appointment and also very hopeful!

Listens to concerns, respects my needs/wants, does not dismiss symptoms; made sure to explain all options in terms I could understand and respected my choices.

She listened carefully to my concerns and provided needed info. This is only the second time seeing Dr. Kerestes but I like her and will continue to see her.

Dr. Kerestes is an amazing doctor. Every time I leave her office I tell friends and family about how great she is and how she should be winning patient satisfaction awards. She messages me on mychart on weekends and nights (sometimes 10 pm) to tell me about my test results. She is to the point and thorough and answers all my questions. I truly can't say enough good things about her. Last year her and her MA stayed late to do a same day, in office procedure so that I wouldn't have to wait a week. She has prescribed me simple medications over a mychart message so that I wouldn't have to go to urgent care or wait over the weekend. She truly cares and that is hard to find.
