Having courage or being fearless has nothing to do with not having fear. Being fearless is a state of being aware of your fears and insecurities, and being willing to face the challenges the world presents without giving into your fears.
The fact is that we all have fears. Those fears are very real and should be acknowledged for safety purposes. However, there are times when, in the course of daily events, we’re required to take a deep breath and move forward with the tasks at hand.
This is the true measure of courage. Are we able to move forward with full knowledge of the risks at hand to make a difference? Today, our actions speak much louder than our words.
