Coping with COVID-19: Living in Today
Prior to the arrival of COVID-19, awareness of the importance of life and understanding just how fragile this can be was minimal.
I saw many things in terms of forever, spending endless hours rehashing mistakes in my mind. Trying to take comfort in a forlorn hope that tomorrow would be better.
In reality, I now have a better understanding of the importance of living in today, focusing on making this day the best it can be. I now understand the importance of smiles, laughter, caring, kindness and communication with those I love and that love me.
Today, I will choose to make the day its very best and to let those I love know just how much I love them.
