Experience and Interests
Jenny Black was born and raised in Cincinnati, OH. She is completing her orthopedic physical therapy residency at The Ohio State University where she is receiving specialized training to become a board-certified orthopedic specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She received her Bachelor of Science in Industrial & Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University in 2010. After working for 8 years in the engineering field, Jenny changed careers to become a physical therapist. She obtained her Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2022 from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Jenny’s clinical interests include lower extremity, teaching & mentorship, and prehabilitation exercises to reduce the likelihood of injury. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys hiking with her dogs, CrossFit, ice cream, and exploring the city of Columbus.
