Experience and Interests
Kat Rethman is a Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is a faculty member for the Ohio State Sports Physical Therapy Residency. Kat is an active member of the Knee Outcome Team, Hip Outcome Team, and the Endurance Medicine Team at Ohio State Sports Medicine. She is an expert in video running gait analysis and in the evaluation and creation of custom foot orthotics. Kat also has her Master’s in Clinical Research and is currently working on a physical therapy clinical research study to measure the effects of dry needling on patients with anterior knee pain. Her research interests include assessment and outcomes of lower extremity injuries and rehabilitation.
