Experiences & Interests

Thalia graduated in 2019 with her doctorate degree in physical therapy. She has been practicing at Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center since then. She utilizes her background as a yoga instructor and wellness practitioner as the foundation of her holistic treatment approach. Her mission is to improve the wellbeing of others on their journeys to live happy, healthy lives. She holds advanced certifications in reiki, the LYT yoga method, running gait analyses, dry needling, blood flow restriction therapy, Graston technique, and the Mckenzie MDT method. She uses her movement expertise and specialty training to create individualized treatment plans to help her patients relieve symptoms and achieve their goals. She is involved with the Endurance Medicine Team and the Ambulatory Rehab Diversity Task Force, along with other state and national physical therapy organizations. Outside of work, Thalia enjoys Olympic weightlifting, teaching yoga, taking family walks, and curling up with a good book.
