This year, the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center has nine nationally ranked specialties out of 15 and four selected as high performing. U.S. News consistently ranks the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center as the top adult hospital in Columbus. Rankings are based on outcomes, structure, patient experience and expert opinion.

The Wexner Medical Center is rated as high performing in 17 out of 22 common procedures and conditions. Additionally, Maternity Care (Uncomplicated Pregnancy) is rated high performing for our Maternity and Perinatal Care. These are more commonly required individual procedures and conditions rather than broader specialties. Hospitals that earned a high-performing rating were significantly better than the national average.
