Biography
I am an interventional pulmonologist who specializes in treating patients with benign and malignant airway and pleural diseases. I have interest in treating patients who suffer from lung cancer, either primary or metastatic in origin. In addition to the prevention, screening, early diagnosis/staging and treatment of lung cancer, I am also focused on emerging technology that uses minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment modalities in patients with benign and malignant lung diseases.
I believe that one of the most important things to consider in order to obtain a favorable and patient-centered outcome is to have a good understanding of the patient’s illness. Because of my background training at one of the top cancer institutions, I became very familiar with the care this patient population needs. At The James, our multidisciplinary team of experts is dedicated to providing the best and most compassionate care possible, regardless of their disease stage.
During my time both as a clinician at the OSUCCC – James and an assistant professor in the Division of Pulmonary, Allergy, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at The Ohio State University, I have enjoyed the camaraderie among the physicians, nurses and support staff who work here. It is very encouraging to see how everyone within their fields is doing their best to deliver exceptional care to our patients as we strive to achieve a cancer-free world.
