About Me

As an emergency and primary care sports medicine physician, my goal every day is to help people reach their physical activity goals. I specialize in treating shoulder, elbow, hip, knee and ankle problems, including issues caused by overuse injuries, loose ligaments, arthritis and fractures. I also offer ultrasound-guided procedures and management of musculoskeletal injuries in both adults and adolescents. I especially enjoy sideline coverage and the camaraderie with athletic trainers and other staff physicians to provide safe and comprehensive care to our athletes.

I have an approachable attitude and my patients can trust that I will do all I can to provide the best care possible. I thoroughly explain the underlying issue, discuss all treatment options available, and work with each patient to develop customized plans that help them reach their goals. I strive to be thoughtful and selfless, to work as a versatile team member, and to always seek growth opportunities in both my personal and professional development.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am also proud to help train future physicians. I am an assistant professor of Emergency Medicine and Sports Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

    Well taking care of

  • Reviewed on Feb 27, 2025

He was friendly and respected my wishes regarding the procedure. I requested that he would not count down the shot, show me the needle, or explain anything as he went and he followed that. He and my nurse did a nice job talking to me to keep me distracted the entire time except for the moment where the needle was actually inside me. They stopped talking and I no longer had a distraction and I was starting to panic. But it was over fairly quickly after.
