Biography
As a dermatologist specializing in general dermatology, I treat patients with a variety of dermatologic conditions including acne, warts, rashes and skin cancer. In addition to treating my patients’ dermatologic conditions, I also educated them about their conditions to further their understanding of their individualized treatment plans.
My approach to care is guided by my passion for teaching. I love working in an academic medical center where I’m able to teach medical students and residents about dermatology. Working at Ohio State allows me to spend more time with patients than if I were in private practice. I want my patients to feel that I have listened to and understand their concerns. Additionally, because of our specialty clinics and access to clinical trials at Ohio State, I am able to offer my patients cutting-edge treatment options!
When I’m not working, I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, playing board games, watching movies and spending time outdoors.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

The physician was amazing. Kind, good listener to my concerns and thorough. She biopsies my dark freckle and it came back melanoma. She is terrific on my book.

Dr. Ullman and the nurse worked very well together in providing a skin check for me. I have had some issues in the past with some skin on private areas of my body and they never made me feel awkward or weird about those concerns. I felt comfortable and at ease during the skin check. I appreciate the attention to detail and thoroughness as well.
Dr. Ulman is fantastic. I have had the pleasure of being Dr. Ulman's patient for several years now and she is a model provider. She Is kind, competent, easy to talk to, very reassuring and reasonable. She is punctual, efficient, and has a manner that makes you feel both at ease and respected.
