Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 10/25/2021, Dr. Bartholomew has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Excellent
Dr. Bartholomew took my concerns seriously. She spent time figuring out what was going on and wasn't in a rush to get on to the next patient.
e talked about experience since last visit onto current expectations. Went well not rushed but exchanging comments and questions - all good.
I really appreciated Dr. Bartholomew's bedside manners the time she took in my exam & during the appt. explaining things as the appt. progressed.
Dr Batholomew took the time to listen to my concerns and did a thorough exam. She was delightful
Excellent.
Dr Bartholomew is consistently engaged with her patient asking pertinent questions and giving excellent advice and recommendations to better one's health
Dr. Bartholomew listened, addressed my issues, was very confident and reassuring! A+ care!
Provider was good. Not trauma informed.
She's always so nice. I enjoy the visits
I have been seeing Dr Bartholomew for 20+ years now and appreciate her care
Competent and caring.
Walked me step by step through the procedure
Very good.
Caring & experienced.
Nice.
I have had Dr. Bartholomew as my Gynecologist for eighteen years. We have a good relationship.
Dr. Deborah Bartholomew was good to me and explained that condition. She was very busy and left before I got a chance to ask additional questions addressing other issues of concern.
Dr. Bartholomew is always so kind and caring. She sad down and listened to and answered my questions.
Very good.
Everything was good.
Dr. Bartholomew has a great bedside manner. Even though there are other OSU GYN's closer to me, I don't mind driving to see her because she's great.
After waiting 40 minutes inside the room, I was getting anxious as I only have so much time off for work. Once she arrived in the room she was pleasant, answered all my questions and spent ample time with me.
She - Dr. Bartholomew - was especially warm and caring this visit for my annual visit.
Dr. Bartholomew is always attentive & caring. She listens to my concerns & walks me through the answers. I only see her once a year, but she always walks in with my medical history at the ready.
Dr. Bartholomew puts me at ease, is very understanding & is able to explain things well. I 100% trust her as a physician.
She was very knowledgeable and took a great deal of time to ask questions and complete an examination.
she always seems rushed to get thru each appointment, doesn't take time to get to know me. most of the time doesn't seem like she has read my chart to know my history.
She was very thorough; inquisitive; concerned; patient; knowledgeable; and detail-oriented.
I wish I would have had moreconversation about my current condition that was diagnosed the day of visit.
really good
Very friendly and knowledgeable. Took time to thoroughly explain things to me.
kind, considerate, listens well, explains with care, encouraging. makes me feel well cared for.
Is very good to do her work.
Dr. Bartholomew always listens & is very caring.
she knows me pretty well. comfortable to be with her
She was great and had outstanding bedside manner.
She listened to me. Clearly she knew well what she was doing. And she was quite kind.
This is the 1st visit where I felt Dr. B. rushed & didn't fully know my history, discuss all options, & seemed rushed. It was disappointing after all these years in her care.
I wish Dr. Bartholomew would have done a better job talking about the ultrasound as she was conducting it. She didn't speak much and it was hard not being allowed to have my husband there to help advocate for me. She brought up some concerns for what she was seeing, but was not clear about her concerns. Also, I was double booked for this appointment and waited an hour. No one came to tell me that my appointment had been double-booked.
good
good
Very happy w/my provider - very nice & friendly!
very knowledgeable
She is wonderful. I recommend her often.
she also was a pro. and helpful
Good experience - Very professional and informative.
Dr Bartholomew was the best doctor I have ever seen at OSU, and I have been goin g to OSU drs for 43 years. She listen, offered me a treatment and was very kind. She was able to do an internal ultrasound that morning instead of having me schedule a new appointment. She should be the example for all GYN doctors at OSU.
Nothing bad. It's nice to go to the same person for so many years.
Took time to answer how I might use exercise to solve an issue that I was having. Asked appropriate follow-up questions when I told her personal news.
Very personable and not in a rush during my visit. May have to wait past my appointment time, but never an issue because she spends all the time needed with me and not in a big hurry to rush off to the next patient. She is the best!
a good experience
Always helpful, explains everything to my understanding and always makes sure I leave the office with prescriptions and follow-up opportunity.
Dr. Bartholomew is excellent in her "bedside manner" and actual care. She helped me resolve a painful issue that I thought I was going to have to live with. It is now resolved and I am very grateful.
I love Dr Bartholomew. She is extremely knowledgeable and professional. She has been my ob/gyn for almost 20 years now and she has given me amazing care, surgery, pre natal care, etc. She is the best!!
my Doctor was empathetic to my issues and answered all my qusetions about a prodcedure I will have.
Dr. Bartholomew is very profession, easy to talk with and definitely knows her profession - I am grateful I was referred to her -
Medical provider was patronizing, judgmental, and insensitive when I was honest about my sexual history. I felt insulted by her approach and in this situation in particular, it was inappropriate.
knowledgeable and kind
I have been seeing my provider over 20 years and during my pregnancy and visits to see her, I did not feel she spent enough time to listen. She usually seemed very busy and rushed. This was disappointing.
friendly, made me feel at ease, professional
Very sweet, informative and helpful.
she is excellent. I see her as a specialist to my primary care. I just thought she was a little short and not fully listening to me this visit.
Didn't feel my questions & concern over an issue were taken seriously. My total time with the doctor was less than 5 minutes (I timed it) and she was walking out the door as she "addressed" my issue.
Prescribed Rx. & ointment. Better in only 2 days - she knows what she is doing! I was in misery for 6 months prior!
She was incredible. I've been dealing with my issues for years now and she is the first doctor to actually give me an answer.
She is very knowledgeable and completed the pap quickly.
All good.
on time, no wait. dr bartholomew is caring and always understanding, never rushed
Knowledgeable visit seemed rushed but this was not my normal provider. Filling in during COVID.
