Biography
I am a board-certified pathologist and the Director of Urologic Pathology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in urologic and breast surgical pathology, with expertise in diagnosing cancers and other diseases of the prostate, urinary bladder, kidney, testis, penis, adrenal and breast. I completed my residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Northwestern University and Urologic Pathology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh and have been an attending physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center since 2009.
I provide expert diagnoses for my patients, serve as a consultant to other pathologists, attend interdisciplinary conferences, improve the clinical quality of the service, implement new diagnostic tests and interface with my multidisciplinary colleagues to provide exceptional tertiary care to my patients.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I serve as a clinical professor of Pathology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, where I am dedicated to advancing education and research in urologic pathology. I have co-authored 2 Urologic Pathology textbooks, published over 100 journal articles, served as a peer reviewer for 44 journals and am on 5 editorial boards. I have held notable positions including Editor in Chief for PathologyOutlines.com, Ohio Delegate Chair for the College of American Pathologists, Board of Governors for The Ohio Society of Pathologists and present numerous talks at national conferences.
