Biography
As a primary care physician, I love what I do. This quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson, 'Adopt the pace of nature, her secret is patience,' best describes how I keep pushing through hard times because I strive to be my best every day.
I enjoy developing a long-lasting doctor-patient relationship with each of my patients. Throughout their medical journey, I lend a listening ear, help them manage complex medical care and give helpful advice.
At Ohio State Wexner Medical Center, I’m lead physician for the Ohio State Transition of Care COVID-19 Clinic as well as an assistant professor for the Division of Internal Medicine. Apart from patient care, I spend much time teaching medical students and residents because passing knowledge on to future generations is an important aspect of working in an academic medical center.
In my spare time, I love reading, traveling and exploring various parts of the world, cooking new cuisine and spending time with my lovely family.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

This time was a little better than the yearly appointment had gone the previous year. I feel like this doctor does not truly listen to concerns. Last year she totally interrupted me when I was asking her a question. And there was no follow up on any previous concerns. I ended up going to specialists to get these issues properly diagnosed. It has been a week since abnormal test results came back from my blood work and there has been no communication explaining the results.
The staff was patient and And answer all questions.

Doc is the best

Dr Bhat was very good during the examination and very thorough. She explained what was causing the problem and possible solutions then gave me a prescription. I was told to contact her within 48 hours if the symptoms had not receeded or were on the way to being completely gone.
