Department: Family Medicine
I’ve been a family medicine physician for more than 20 years and have treated a wide range of conditions including anxiety, depression, diabetes and hypertension. In particular, I have a special interest in women’s health and college health. I’m passionate about working with a diverse patient population and educating patients to be involved in their own health care needs. I believe in building a collaborative relationship with my patients while balancing what’s medically recommended for a patient along with their medical needs. I’m also committed to breaking down any barriers that prevent patients from achieving their best health.
The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center has a culture of collaborative care to support family medicine. With access to nationally renowned specialists, pharmacists, nutritionists, physical therapists, occupational therapists and mental health providers, our patients are able to have all their health care needs provided for in a single institution.
Apart from patient care, I have mentored family medicine residents for more than 14 years and enjoy sharing my knowledge of clinical medicine. By teaching others, I have continued to learn and grow as a physician and be a support system for students as a diversity mentor.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy doing yoga and going for walks with my dog. I also love sampling different cuisines at restaurants and traveling.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Very informative and helpful
Excellent
She answered the questions I had, and scheduled some lab work (which she had confirmed with Medicare as to whether they would cover it, even before she came into the room). Which confirmed it to me that she had accrual read the MA's notes.
Dr. Chang is terrific, great listener. I really appreciate her approach to medical care

Concerned and a good listener; made referral when doctor felt it was needed
She was outstanding
My doctor overall was outstanding in caring for me and explaining things to me. This made a huge difference in my confidence in her ability to care for me and in my trust in her as a physician
Dr Chang was in Pickerington. I really appreciate how caring she is to me! I now drive to Dublin as I really like her! She's worth it!
I would very much like this person to remain my primary care provider godwilling they stay with this hospital and I do not have to obtain a new primary. This is my third primary care provider since I joined Dublin Outpatient in 2021 or 2022. They seem very caring and very much wanting to help me be my favorite self.
Dr. Chang was easy to talk to, listened to me and clearly explained things
She always is knowledgeable and followed up with me after hours with X-ray results
As good as one should expect again.
Dr. Chang was thorough and asked follow up questions as needed. She didn't appear to have reviewed my pre-registration with family medical history.
She was very thorough and knowledgeable about my condition
Good communication regarding my needs
Overall she was lovely, I was able to get in as my regular provider was leave the practice. The appointment was scheduled 3 months in advanced. I say this with grace as I understand how extremely busy providers may be. From a patient centered care perspective, the questions being asked during the visit gave me the Impression they hadn't reviewed my chart prior to our visit.
I do like Dr Chang !

All good
My care provider was instrumental in helping me take a significant step toward addressing my outstanding health issues.
Was very knowledgeable, very understanding, and helped me make progress with health goals.
I am a new patient to this provider and to the health system. Being an advanced practice nurse myself, I surprised that the only physical assessment done by the physician was to listen to my heart, my lungs and neck to listen for bruit. I am 67 years of age, overweight. I would expect palpation of thyroid, palpation of pulses of lower extremity, check for edema. I was disappointed. I felt that the little bit of physical assessment was perfunctory. The physician was kind and listened well and explained her recommendations for baseline labs and ordered screening tests (mammography and bone density).
She was thorough and caring
Ver polite
Very Good Experience. I was very impressed how well my visit went.We communicated very well and covered all my questions and concerns
This was my very first appointment with my new primary care provider Dr. Chang. She gave me her full attention and was interested in my medical history/answers to her questions. It was a thorough discussion of my health. She put in orders for a blood test, bone density test, and colonoscopy. I felt she really cared about me and wanted to make sure I am up-to-date on my tests. Lots of eye contact.
The resident listened intently and validated my experiences. The attending came in and seemed in a rush, only giving referrals and blood tests without concern about my anxieties. Some questions went unanswered and I had to message after to figure out why.
Thorough and quick (same day appointment)
She took extra care to make sure I understood what she was asking me to do and was comfortable.
He's very nice. She's very patient. She's very thorough. She did not rush me with my concerns. I'm very comfortable with her being my doctor.
Pleasant and cheerful. Asked appropriate questions. Was reassuring.
She help me to get another medicine.
