Biography
I am a board-certified podiatrist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in diagnosing and treating conditions affecting the foot and ankle, including diabetic complications, fractures, and deformities. My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter.
I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers.
I am an assistant clinical professor of Orthopedics at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Had three guys in the exam room, believe two were trainees or students, also had an xray. I didn't get a diagnosis and he didn't ask any follow up questions when was describing the history of this foot problem. He gave me some inserts and said I could order more from Amazon. When I received the results from the xray in My hart there was what appeared to be some significant findings listed in medical terminology that I don't comprehend. Dr. Monson didn't cover any of those findings with me.

He listened to what I had to say about what made me set up the appointment. He provided the medication needed painlessly. He asked if he could assist me with anything else. I asked if he knew of a good Audiologist. He said he doesn't know them personally, but he was sure there are good ones located at the New Albany Wexner Medical center and he even referred me for an appointment. That helped tremendously!

I was hoping my provider had more ideas or possibilities of my foot discomforts for both feet. We will be doing an EMG but I am not so sure that will give me my answers.

The podiatrist was professional, supportive and caring. Once he finished with the baby toe problem that was the cause of my visit, he went ahead and cut my thick toenails, saving me both time and effort.

Both the resident physician and Dr. Monson were great! The resident - sorry, have forgotten her name! - managed the injection of the numbing agent wonderfully - very little discomfort. And Dr. Monson was able to remove the offending toenail edge quite quickly. Whew!!

He is always scared of trimming nails always checks out what's in one hands. I am 84 year old he should provide extra band aid himself. Uncourteous and unprofessional.
