I am a board-certified internal medicine physician at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I specialize in primary care and preventive medicine, helping patients manage chronic conditions and maintain overall wellness. My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter.
I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of skilled experts to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values. In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers.

All very good. Initial appt with physician to be new primary care provider (previous PC retired). Very thorough and thoughtful in reviewing my medical histiory and test. Pleasant tone and manner. Very direct and factual, doesn't mince words. Perfect. Feel lucky to have him on my against whatever older age tries to trip me up with.
No bad. He checks in on past difficulties and always responds well to my questions. He always checks about other Dr. Reports and shares what he has read that is out of the ussual. I did not feel rushed and he addresses three issues I was having.

Dr. Vaughn provided an extremely thorough annual checkup going over the changes in my health and how they affected my future health. He went over all preventative options and changed some of my medications and their dosages due to our conversation and the changes in my health. Overall outstanding primary care experience.

Good exam, and good decision to schedule an ultrasound. However, I never got an interpretation of the results. I saw the results on MyChart, but I never saw a description of what they meant, or any follow up plan.

Patient has dementia but is not hard of hearing. The doctor raised his voice to the patient when giving directions about what the doctor wanted the patient to do. This is counterproductive with a dementia patient who can hear just fine. Doctor was perceived as aggressive because of raised voice even though I do not believe that was his intent. Dementia patients need to be treated kindly in a gentle voice not in a voice they perceive as yelling.I believe my loved could have had a better evaluation of capabilities and symptoms if treated differently

Fairly routine semi-annual visit. Blood test showed higher than expected value for sugar so doctor ordered new prescription as soon as results were posted
