Biography
As an orthopedic surgeon with a subspecialty in sports medicine and shoulder surgery, I perform the most advanced surgical techniques of the shoulder and elbow. I use nonoperative treatments whenever possible and use surgery when it is the best option for the patient and their shoulder problem. I specialize in arthroscopic surgery including rotator cuff repair and labral repair as well as anatomic and reverse shoulder replacement and revision surgery.
In order to provide individualized care to each patient, I begin by listening to their unique problems and goals. I aim to help patients understand their orthopedic conditions and work with them to choose the best treatment to help them return to their activities. I’m passionate about helping people of all ages and backgrounds regain their quality of life and return to the activities they love.
Working at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center allows me to provide cutting-edge clinical care to patients. I take pride in collaborating with a team of sports medicine experts and participating in clinical research that improves treatments for our patients. I also enjoy serving as a team physician for high school, collegiate and professional athletes, including the Columbus Clippers (AAA affiliate of Cleveland Indians).
When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as running, skiing, baseball, and hiking.

Doctor Cvetanovich was awsome. He explained in detail what he was going to do. After the surgery care was exactly as he described and easy to do. The 4" incision didnt look as bad as I thought it would. I would recommend this doctor.

I had two providers in my appointment. Dr. Cvetenovich did take time to listen to the problems but when I didn't agree and tried to explain my reasoning he quickly, but respectfully, ended the appointment but saying he was referring me to a different specialty. The other doctor was brusque and a little condescending when I was explaining the situation.
He did an excellent job. I was off my strong pain meds within a week
