About Me

I am an endocrinologist who specializes in diagnosing and treating thyroid cancer. In my dedicated clinic, I perform ultrasound-guided fine-needle aspiration biopsies of thyroid nodules to determine whether they are cancerous. It is a privilege to be part of such an esteemed academic institution where the multidisciplinary, patient-centered approach enables us to make a positive difference in people’s lives every day.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am actively involved in research and clinical trials. My work has been widely published in peer-reviewed academic journals. My role also includes providing mentorship to future physicians. I am a member of the student education committee and a core liaison for the endocrinology division for third- and fourth-year medical students.

The doctor was very specific in addressing my illness and how to treat it. She was friendly and genuinely concerned. She had a lot of clinical knowledge about my illness and she entered the room prepared for my visit, knowing much of my history from my charts.
