Biography
I became an orthopedic surgeon because I am passionate about helping patients get back to doing the things they love. As an adult reconstruction specialist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I focus on hip and knee surgeries. I regularly perform partial and total hip and knee replacements, as well as revision hip and knee procedures. I am passionate about using robotics in surgery to help deliver more precise outcomes, and about the development of low-opioid/no-opioid recovery protocols.
My goal as a provider is to partner with each patient to develop a personalized treatment plan that will help improve their quality of life. I do my best to ensure that my patients understand their disease process and all of their treatment options. I ensure that each patient leaves my office with all of their questions and concerns addressed.
I was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, and attended my first Buckeye football game as a young child. I earned my undergraduate degree in Biology at The Ohio State University. It’s a privilege to work at an academic medical center, where teaching, learning and research are strongly valued.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, grilling, hiking and spending time with my wife and three kids. Saturdays in the fall are for Buckeye football!

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. Dr. Reeves has been the BEST orthopedic doctor I've ever been to. I was surprised by how much time he took with me, listened, and made a plan right away to help me with my pain.

Dr. Reeves was very respectful, he explained my situation in laymans terms, which I was very thankful for. He did not walk in. Tell me what was going on what needed to be done and walk out. His great ability to lead a discussion and evaluation about the condition of my knee and then the specifics of the plan of action was excellent. He anticipated issues. He used a tangible model when he saw a bit of uncertainty about the prosthetic creeping in. He has an easy sense of humor. Past surgeons with whom I have met for myself or family members were often lacking in people skills and were very paternal, treating questions as disrespect. Dr. Reeves anticipated and elicited questions, making sure all were asked before the visit ended.
He is an outstanding doctor and really cares about his patients!
