Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2022, Dr. Leisring has reported no relationships with companies or entities.

Good care provider
Dr. Leisring is an excellent physician who always spends time with me to listen to my questions and provide detailed information and answers,, which I very much appreciate. He is patient, kind and caring.
Patient and listened to my questions. Eye contact and very professional.
He was attentive, knowledgeable and compassionate. He took time with me so I could understand what was going on with me.
That why I am driving 80 miles, just because the nurse and doctors are exceptional, I feel like I am in best of hands.
Took the time to make sure I understood the issues and was onboard with the treatment plan.
Dr. Leisring is very nice and thorough in his approach to my care. He is kind and takes time to explain things in language I can understand. I always leave with a plan for follow up.
Only a great experience.

INTERESTED, CONCERN, EFFICIENT CARE
I was there for a consultation. Very impressed the doctor was friendly, kind, very knowledgeable.
Dr. Joshua Leisring apologized about the delay running behind. But Dr. Leisring is the best dr. It was my 2nd time seeing him. He explains everything to you and in terms that you can understand and ask and answer any questions you may have. I never had a more carrying doctor. He's the best.
My provider is excellent. He's a young doctor who shows concern, kindness & a great ability to help his patients. I have 100% faith in what he does for me and I'm old. He is also very respectful & always follows up on all blood work - tests, etc. - You are lucky to have him @ OSU and I am lucky to have him for my doctor!
In the end, I felt as though I were annoying him. I genuinely felt as though I got on his nerves by repeatedly asking questions. I felt as though the doctors who referred me to this provider had a good reason to, but I don't feel as though my situation were taken seriously once I got there. It could be that he saw how many doctors I've been to in the past 18 months, and pretty much decided I was a hypochondriac. And afterward, when the time came to discuss my test results, again I felt as though I was getting on his nerves. I contacted him first, via My Chart; it could be that he didn't get my test results as quickly as I did, as that sometimes does happen. But overall I just felt patronized. There are several markers on the test results that had little red exclamation mArks next to them, And I saw that the values were not within normal range. That was not addressed until I brought it up, at which point he said that yes that just confirmed what he hypothesized about during our office visit. How would I have known that, as a lay person/patient?
He was very kind and concerned for what I was there for and answered all my questions completely. Took his time with me and was one of the nicest doctors that I have every met.
