About Me
As a rheumatologist and the co-director of the rheumatology-dermatology multidisciplinary clinic at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I care for patients with systemic autoimmune rheumatic diseases (SARDs) with a focus on lupus and rheumatologic conditions with manifestations in the skin.
I am passionate about finding new innovative solutions to improve patient outcomes and I am actively involved in research efforts. I serve as the director of clinical trials for the Division of Rheumatology and am the principal investigator on several trials looking at new treatments. My role also involves teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows, and collaborating with them on research projects.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

I Love Dr. Lin, she has an amazing memory and is great at asking questions about things I wanted to talk about without asking. I truly feel cared for by her, in a genuine way that money cannot buy.
Dr. Lin is very attentive to my concerns and explains everything well. She is very calming and never rushes my appointment.
She has always been great, when I came to her initially a few years ago I was very sick. The care she gave and still gives make me so grateful to have her as my Doctor.

Care provider is always listening to how you feel they listen to if you feel sick how your body feels and what you think might be going on with you and they tried to figure out the best way to treat it. That's one thing I love about the facility and these doctors because they really do take the time to listen to you as a patient and they don't try to play rush like they're in a hurry to get out of the room

The Dr. Was not super friendly or empathetic. I felt like she was dismissive of my symptoms and didn't really listen to me
Spent approximately 1 minute with me. The other doctor (I think) spent time asking things. No one went over the questionnaire that they asked me to fill out when I first came in the room (they never do). I feel like it's a waste to even fill it out if we're not going to talk about it. The actual doctor only came in and was gone in less than a minute. My visit prior to this one I was there over 30 /40 minutes before being seen and in the room another 30 minutes or more before the doctor came in. This is unacceptable.
Dr. Lin took extra time to help me with my needs. She showed some empathy for my situation.

Always concerned with my condition and what to do next to help improve my condition.
Dr. Lin listens well; however, because I was feeling so improved, I got the impression she was actually disappointed and kept trying to find something more wrong with me. I like how thorough she is, but not how very much she pushes biologics. I am much improved because I changed my diet, lifestyle and stayed OFF of the biologic she had wanted me on. I wish she was (and the entire medical institution) more open to non-Biologics for solutions.

Excellent overall. Caring and responsive to all questions and issues. More importantly, after searching for help for 7-8 years, I have finally found a doctor who is knowledgeable thorough hand effective in the treatment of granuloma annulare.
All the doctors that I have had to see up there have been fantastic and wonderful. They take time to listen to me. They don't treat me like I'm on an assembly line or just another paycheck and I think it is fantastic of how they do things that is why I like going there And hopefully these things that they're getting ready to do to me on the infusion stuff as well. I will hopefully get better.

My care provider answers me when I send a message on my chart relatively quick and I'm happy about that if I need to get in, they try to squeeze me in if I do have a problem, but I do try to wait until my appointment time
