Biography

As a surgeon, I specialize in treating esophagus and stomach (foregut) diseases, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), esophageal motility disorder, and esophageal and gastric cancers. I use a wide variety of general surgery techniques with a focus on endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches.

I chose medicine because it combines problem-solving, teamwork and the chance to make a direct impact. I've always been drawn to work that’s hands-on and meaningful, where skill and judgment truly matter. Surgery fits that perfectly – it’s precise, fast-paced, and deeply human.

I take my patients care personally. I believe in being clear, honest and steady, especially when people are facing tough decisions. My goal is to give patients the best possible outcomes and make sure they feel supported and valued through every step.

In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am passionate about educating and mentoring the next generation of providers. I serve as the program director of the Ohio State University College of Medicine General Surgery Residency Program.
