About Me

As a surgeon, I specialize in treating esophagus and stomach (foregut) diseases, including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), esophageal motility disorder, and esophageal and gastric cancers. I use a wide variety of general surgery techniques with a focus on endoscopic and minimally invasive approaches.

I make sure my patients truly understand the disease they are facing and the possible treatments, including not only the benefits but also the drawbacks of surgery, so that they can make an informed decision that’s best for their health and quality of life.

I love working at The Ohio State University because of the collegiality of the people. Everyone is working together for a common goal and there are plenty of resources to get patients what they need.

In my free time, I enjoy running, hiking, and participating in water and snow sports.
