About Me
As a primary care physician, I treat patients across all stages of life from infancy to adulthood. Whether managing chronic conditions, providing preventive care or offering guidance through life's major milestones, I am committed to ensuring every member of the family receives the highest quality of care.
I chose to specialize in internal medicine and pediatrics because it’s a privilege to build lasting relationships with my patients and their families. I prioritize getting to know each person, including their backgrounds, aspirations and unique stories, which allows me to provide highly personalized care that best aligns with their needs and values.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, my role includes helping to educate future physicians. I am an assistant clinical professor of Internal Medicine at The Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, doing home improvement projects, traveling and cheering for my alma mater – the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Cooper has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
Caring, knowledgeable
I messaged Dr Cooper via MyChart with a non-urgent concern. Almost immediately she responded and scheduled an appt for the following week. I really appreciated her quick response. She really listened to my concerns and we agreed on a reasonable way ahead to revisit at my next annual checkup. Dr Cooper is so attentive and genuinely concerned about her patients.
Dr. Cooper and other staffs were EXCEPTIONAL. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND DR. COOPER AND HER STAFFS except for the assistant who did the BMI
We absolutely LOVE Dr. Cooper. Both of my children see Dr. Cooper and every time we visit OSU New Albany, we feel seen and extremely well taken care of. We have Anthem BCBS insurance and the thought of having to switch doctor's if OSU became out of network made me extremely sad. Luckily we don't have to worry about it with the recent (amazing) news, so we're thrilled!
Dr C is the very best doctor I've ever had, She is very thorough and always gives answers to all of the questions on my list that I take to her office to discuss. Whether it is immunizations or illness or my chronic conditions. She has literally saved my life twice with convos we have had. One incident was about heart attack systems in women. Another was about blood pressure. I had an AKI due to very low BP. DR C told me to go straight to ER
Good
Dr. Cooper listened to my concerns and gave me good advice
Very personable and knowledgeable
Felt like I couldn't explain what I meant properly because I struggle with communication, so it led to a little bit of confusion during the appointment. It felt like there was an expectation for me to "appear" more autistic or be more nonverbal because I'm diagnosed with Autism. This did upset me a little, because what if I didn't have someone to help advocate for me? Overall good experience though!
Super attentive and genuinely cared what I had to say.
She listened and responded professionally and kindly.
Was able to talk him into getting the flu and Covid injections with the use of the shot blocker. Was out first appointment with Dr. Cooper and she went through all of his medical history and some of ours, listened to all of our concerns with previous blood work results and was agreeable to recheck all labs. Was not able to discuss all the things that we wanted to discuss but that was at no fault of Dr. Coopers, we had just ran out of time. Our son like her a lot and felt really comfortable with her!
She was great and caring
Wonderful doctor
I like how my doctor is very organized, helpful, and supportive
All good!
Dr Cooper is the very best MD I've had in all of my 72 yrs.
Excellent! Vert nice and knowledgeable. Provided recommendations based on personal experiences and medical knowledge.
Dr. Cooper was very professional and did a very thorough assessment and exam of my case. She explained very clearly the situation toMe and ordered additional test to find out more about my situation.
Dr. Cooper is the best!
It was overall a good appointment
We love Dr. Cooper!
Very engaged and personable. Willing to help whenever needed
Dr. Cooper is absolutely amazing. My husband and I are so impressed by her and we even look forward to seeing her again. She's respectful, kind, understanding, and loves our daughter. We feel safe talking to her and having her as our daughter's doctor.
Dr. Cooper went above and beyond to help find therapy resources for a complex condition right after this appointment . She was very patient and gave her full attention to my son during his visit. She seemed truly concerned and tried to help him find ways to improve his diet and activity. She is very kind and approachable. She also wanted to alleviate his anxiety and put a note in his chart to be put in a room right away on next visit without us even asking. She was awesome!
We love Dr Cooper! Always patient and answers all my questions.
Seemed to be very interested in me
Very caring. Concerned. Knowledgeable.
My experience with my care provider was positive.
Dr. Cooper is the BEST. The appointment took longer than I expected because it was a new patient appointment (meet and greet). But Dr. Cooper asked all the necessary questions and information regarding my health (emotional, physical and mental). She is super knowledgeable and understands the complexity of my medical condition. I'm VERY please with her.
All good
Dr. Cooper was wonderful! Listened and answered every question I had in a very professional manner.
Whole thing was good
Very good new doctor we saw.
It was good, Dr cooper was very nice and open minded.
She was great. Informative and friendly.-
Very concerned about well-being. Recommends other options that an be considered
Dr.Cooper made me feel comfortable and happy for her to be my primary physician.
Dr. Cooper is amazing my only frustration is the fact that because I get anxious I feel rushed with her and sometimes I don't get all my questions and then its a while before I can see her again. That's my only frustration is I wish there was more options for longer appointments for neurodivergent people that it just takes us longer to ask and understand stuff. Other than appointment time restrictions Dr. Cooper is hands down the best doctor and pediatrician we've had and we've gone through 5.
Good very helpful and trust worthy
Loved her - first patient visit and so happy to have found her
She has her hands full with me. I'm not well, but she tries hard.
I'm good.
Non-judgemental environment, easy to talk to, friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Good listener.
Great experience.
Dr. Cooper had reviewed my chart ahead of time. She listened well to my concerns, and addressed each one. Great job!
Only good! Dr. Cooper is so wonderful and she listens and explores options and isn't afraid to look at my son as a whole! She is professional, but personable and I feel like she really cares!
My dr. spends time listening & asking questions seemed interested in me.
Dr Cooper has literally saved my life twice. Once in regard to heart attack info and second time AKI Acute Kidney Incident.
Very good
She was very pleasant and took time to discuss my health
She was personable, knowledgeable, caring, genuine, interested and concerned with getting a complete picture.
