Biography

I am an endocrinologist who primarily sees patients at the Center for Women’s Health in Upper Arlington. My role involves diagnosing and treating people for a wide range of issues including diabetes, adrenal gland and pituitary diseases and polycystic ovary syndrome, and I am a nationally recognized expert in osteoporosis and hypoparathyroidism. I have been recognized as a Top Performer in Patient Experience at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center multiple times, I was part of the 2023 Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine List, and I have been honored as a Columbus Monthly Best Doctor annually since 2008.

Endocrinology is a thought-provoking and fascinating field that touches nearly every aspect of a person’s health, and I am passionate about using my skills to help each person achieve a higher quality of life. I believe the best way for a person to achieve good health is through a solid partnership with their providers, one that is based on excellent communication and collaboration. With these concepts in mind, my goal is always to maximize health and well-being by working together as a team.

Outside of my clinical responsibilities, I am focused on medical education, and I am often invited to share my expertise at national conferences. I am the director of education at the Center for Women’s Health and the director of Endocrine Grand Rounds. I also serve as co-director for Bone Day, the biannual educational event designed to share best practices and improve care for osteoporosis.

I completed medical school and my fellowship training at Ohio State, and it’s an honor to pay it forward by helping train future clinicians. I am a clinical associate professor of Internal Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
