Biography
I am a board-certified anesthesiologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I have extensive experience in airway management. I have also established myself as a top expert in obstetric anesthesia, which involves providing care for pregnant patients during delivery.
I chose a career in medicine because I am deeply passionate about caring for people, and I treat all patients with the same high quality that I would want for my own family. I am dedicated to always providing compassionate care, especially for those who are sick or disabled.
My academic and clinical experiences have continually shaped and refined my approach to medicine. I’m committed to integrating innovative research into my clinical practice to ensure my patients receive the best care possible. My work in global health and medical education has also led to impactful initiatives and recognitions in numerous countries.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I serve as director of the Ohio State University Anesthesiology Research Hub and as research chief of the Division of Obstetric Anesthesia in The Ohio State University College of Medicine. In addition, I am a professor of Anesthesiology in the Ohio State College of Medicine and lead the Ohio State chapter of the World Federal Societies of Anesthesiologists Research Fellowship Programme. These roles have enabled me to mentor the next generation of health care professionals.
