Biography

My retinal ophthalmology expertise includes managing eye conditions involving the retina and vitreous, a gel-like substance in the eye.

I see patients with diverse problems that range from color vision defects and night blindness to retinal vascular disease. The retina is a vital part of the eye that senses light and sends images to your brain. I treat retinal eye conditions such as diabetic retinopathy and retinal detachment repair.

Other conditions treated include diabetic macular edema and age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The macula, at the center of retinal tissue, provides sharp, central vision. Early detection of AMD and other eye diseases can prevent or slow vision loss.

From comprehensive eye exams to complex surgery, I take time to treat each patient as an individual. I balance the most advanced care with personalized treatment.

At Ohio State, we collaborate with other physicians and health care professionals who share the highest standards of care. By combining our expertise and resources, we offer patients the best possible care.
