Biography
I am a pulmonary and critical care physician with a focus on interventional pulmonology. I began this focus during my fellowship training in 2003 and have continued to teach and perform a high volume of advanced diagnostic and therapeutic procedures since that time. I also have been fortunate to participate in early device development in the bronchoscopy space. I believe in a patient centered, compassionate, and multidisciplinary approach to patient care. I will always have a conversation with a patient to learn which options fit their goals, and then we will mutually decide upon the best course of action. I receive tremendous gratification in relieving dyspnea with therapeutic procedures, but I equally enjoy meeting and developing a relationship with patients.
I was recruited by The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for a Directorship position to work alongside a team of world class interventional pulmonologists and to join the thoracic oncology team at the James Cancer Center. I feel fortunate to work with such skilled and collegial colleagues at one of the largest comprehensive cancer centers in the country. The support of the James Cancer Center and The Ohio State University allows me to provide comprehensive and state of the art care to our patients.
