Biography
As a plastic surgeon, I provide microsurgical solutions for patients with a variety of complex defects, as well as a fair amount of cosmetic surgery. As the director of Ohio State’s Limb Preservation Program, I work to prevent amputations in patients who have severe wounds on their extremities. I also perform cancer reconstruction surgery for patients with breast cancer, head and neck cancer and cancer in their limbs.
I don’t see myself as just a service provider. My goal is to make sure that I connect with my patients on a deeper level while providing their healthcare needs.
The most rewarding part about my job is that I am able to make a difference in people’s lives. With all of the rules, regulations and paperwork that come with being a physician, it’s the opportunity to connect with my patients that makes me want to get up each morning and come to work.

Care provider was very care concern.
It was to get more information about a possible surgery, so I needed more time to digest the information providrd than to know every to ask every question at once. The follow up summary information provided me with a lot more details than the provider would have had time for. I felt I could trust this provider, but I wouldn't actually have the opportunity to talk to him again before surgery should I move forward with the surgery. I think he expected something more decisive on my part and the hesitation threw him off as he definitely seemed very busy (he was doing rounds prior to my visit) and laid out my options/next steps without going into all the details of the summary.
Amazing. Took his time and explained everything to me
The check-in process was seamless . We were greeted by a receptionist who treated us with kindness and respect.
Very attentive and courteous
He was one of the best doctors I have ever had. He was very thorough and even made us laugh. He was great! This world needs more doctors like him! Very good bedside manners.
