About Me
I am a licensed psychologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I specialize in the evaluation and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, panic disorder, and psychotic disorders. My therapeutic approach integrates cognitive therapy and evidence-based psychotherapy to support patients in achieving emotional well-being and resilience.
My patients can rely on me for high quality, compassionate care and honest communication in every encounter. I collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of behavioral health professionals to ensure each patient receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs and values.
I completed my doctoral training at Alliant International University in San Francisco and a fellowship in psychology at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I am fluent in French and Spanish, which allows me to connect with and support a diverse patient population.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health. I am also a member of the CATALYST research team, contributing to the advancement of team science and systems thinking in health services research.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Sykes has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
