I am a neurologist who specializes in treating movement disorders. I care for patients with conditions such as Parkinson’s disease, dystonia, tremors, Lewy body dementia, multiple system atrophy, progressive supranuclear palsy and corticobasal degeneration.
I work closely with our multidisciplinary team to identify patients who would benefit from deep brain stimulation and then closely monitor these patients with the help of our excellent nurse practitioners. I also perform botulinum toxin injections for conditions like dystonia. I am grateful for the resources available at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, which allow me to provide the best possible treatment options for my patients.
More than anything else, I am an advocate for my patients. I believe empathetic listening combined with careful observation is the best way to identify and solve problems. My patients can expect customized treatments based on their specific needs and values.

Dr. Jordan took his time, asked many questions, suggested new medications and said his goal was to make my life easier and pain free. This was my first visit with Dr. Jordan. I waited over 7 months for this appointment and I was extremely happy with the outcome. I have already recommended him to fellow Parkinson's friends.

Having Botox treatments every 3 months helps my neck movement. Because a needle is inserted into a muscle, there can be different levels of pain. Dr. Jordan cares and lets me know how many seconds and injections are left. I appreciate his skill and totally trust him!

Dr. Jordan was exceptionally nice in explaining my tremors and the medication I'm on now add to them. He wrote a detailed report which my cardiologist could review and we plan to follow his recommendations. Because of the severity or lack of of my tremors, I would not be eligible for the focus ultrasound surgery under my insurance.

Dr. Jordan is a very competent and caring doctor. I felt comfortable discussing my essential tremors with him.He offered two solutions to rectifying my debilitating illness and explained the pros and cons of undergoing either of them, leaving it up to me as to how to proceed from there. I'm still deciding what to do because undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation is very invasive even though the outcome is far exceeds the risks involved in performing the procedure. I said to him that I would get back to him with my decision as to what I want to do.It's a little scary to think about brain surgery.
