Biography
I became a certified nurse-midwife because I’m passionate about offering women the best reproductive care possible at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
I feel it’s crucial to collaborate with each patient to create a high-quality, evidence-based health care plan that aligns with their unique needs and values. My patients can trust that I’ll always listen to their concerns, address their questions and empower them to make important decisions about their bodies.
I provide well-woman care, contraceptive management including IUD and Nexplanon, preconception counseling, and STI testing and treatment. I also regularly treat conditions such as vaginitis, pelvic pain and dysmenorrhea, and address menstrual concerns.
In my free time, I like to spend time with friends and my significant other. I enjoy binge-watching true-crime documentaries, watching football games and eating spicy food.

The provider spent over 30 minutes with me, she explained what she read in my history, and the files she reviewed, she came in to see me with a plan, and reviewed that, asking for my input. She is the first provider in 10 years to formulate a plan to get to the root problem.
She is amazing and we need more healthcare providers like her! She listens and empathizes, while also providing excellent care. She is friendly and respectful and responds to messages as quickly as possible.

Very happy with Aashka as a provider. She thorough, responsive and follows up quickly. Appointments are always quick, easy and painless. My appointment was at 8am and I was roomed early but wasn't seen until after 820. I get things are busy and there are double booked patients but at 8am things shouldn't be that behind.

I've had consistent good experiences with my provider. So sit down and talks to me and answer any of my questions and understanding that I'm a planner and I always want to have a Plan B just in case.
