Aashka was extremely helpful, talked with me about all my previous and current concerns to ensure they were addressed, and communicated in a way that was super easy to understand. She is an excellent provider and makes sure all my questions are answered and that I'm comfortable with my healthcare decisions that are made.
She is phenomenal. Very well prepared, relatable, put me at ease, attentive, efficient, answered all questions very clearly and reassuringly.
I have seen Dr. Patel three times now for gynecological annual exams and follow up concerns. Each time I have seen Dr. Patel, especially during our first visit, I was amazed at the length of time she took to listen to me, answer my questions, and looked for ways to provide additional resource and assistance for my concerns. I felt as if she would take whatever time was needed to listen to me. Most doctors that I have encountered quickly chatted with me and seemed to dismiss some of my comments. That was not the case with Dr. Patel. She listened. She clarified. She was genuine. That provided the reason for me to start utilizing the Ohio State medical providers. Dr. Patel is amazing. She seemed efficient and knowledgeable, and an asset to the Ohio State Medical community.

I really enjoy Aashka Patel. I feel that she listens to me and answers all of my questions without hesitation. I feel that she provides me with time to ask questions and does not rush through the exam.
Of all of my care providers, this provider is my favorite. She spends as much time with me as needed, truly listens to my concerns/medical updates, and immediately puts a plan in action if needed. I recently switched insurance companies and found out that this provider is considered out of network--I knew right away that I would not be switching to an in-network provider if it meant I had to be seen by someone other than this provider. That speaks to how much I respect and appreciate this provider and the services she offers.

She is extremely professional and knowledgeable in her field. She shows genuine interest in my concerns and answers questions thoroughly and easy to understand.

Very informative! Aashka also had a student shadowing for one of my appointments, and the student was great as well! I asked them a lot of questions to make the most informed decision possible, and they explained things in an accessible yet thorough way. They were also very mindful of how a gynecology exam can be invasive or triggering and were very clearly committed to making sure I felt comfortable and safe.
Good experience
Ashka is my favorite health care provider that I have ever had. She takes the time needed and then some to make sure I am comfortable during uncomfortable procedures. She is the first provider that has taken my menstrual pain seriously and provided solutions.

My provider impressed me with how much she remembered about my medical history. She did an excellent job discussing fertility testing with me. She alleviated a lot of my fears by thoroughly explaining the required steps for fertility testing and when it would be indicated. She was very knowledgeable. I feel prepared to navigate the next steps when it comes time.
My care provider also seemed to have a good background knowledge of my health history, especially considering she has never seen me before. She did an excellent and thorough job of asking me questions and answering any questions that I had. She provided good explanations for what my symptoms could possibly be and ordered tests so that she could gain more insight as well. She was very friendly and personable. After my blood tests results, she sent me a messGe the same day.

This was a 5 star visit. 1. Aashka explains health matters, and explains procedures prior to engaging in the exam. 2. She was fully aware of my past history. 3. She was extremely respectful of my comfort and privacy. 4. She answered my questions to the fullest. 5. The visit occurred on time. Well done in every aspect of the visit.

I plan on discontinuing treatment with OSU due to how difficult the experience typically is and how I satisfied I am. Aashka is the only provider I will continue to see through OSU. She is AMAZING. If she ever leaves OSU I will follow her where she goes. She is the only provider through OSU that seems to actually care about patients as people and really wants to care for them. She trusts what patients have to say or ask for and does what she can to meet their needs. I have referred multiple friends to her and everyone who sees her loves her and agrees they will follow her to whatever practice she goes to

Dr. Patel was truly the best doctor I've seen- she not only took the time to discuss my current medication, but also spent time going through and coming up with an alternate plan in case I would be unable to continue taking my current medication. Additionally, she was the first doctor that I felt respected my autonomy fully and completely. Her treatment plans took both my medical and emotional needs into account, and I am so grateful I was able to be in Dr. Patel's care.
