Biography
I am a gastroenterologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, specializing in a wide range of esophageal disorders including achalasia, Barrett's esophagus, eosinophilic esophagitis and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). I have a passion for caring for patients with esophageal diseases and have completed specialized, advanced training with a focused year on esophageal diseases and completion of fellowship training programs with the American Foregut Society and American Neuromotility Society.
I take the time to listen to each patient's concerns so that I can better understand their needs and develop an individualized treatment plan. My goal is to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care and support informed, shared decision-making at every stage of treatment.
In addition to performing routine upper endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures, I specialize in EndoFLIP (functional luminal imaging probe) evaluation for the diagnosis of esophageal motility disorders. I also provide advanced endoscopic treatments for Barrett's esophagus, including radiofrequency ablation and cryoablation. By combining the latest diagnostic and therapeutic approaches with compassionate care, I strive to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes and improved quality of life.
