About Me
I am a nephrologist specializing in treating chronic kidney disease (CKD) and acute kidney injuries. I have extensive expertise in caring for patients who have received kidney or kidney–pancreas transplants. I specialize in the care of patients who have developed kidney dysfunction after receiving solid organ transplants, namely liver, lung and heart. My role at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center also includes serving as the liaison for the Outpatient Nephrology Clinic to ensure a smooth transition of care from the hospital to the clinic.
Chronic kidney disease is a common condition requiring continual medical supervision. My patients can trust that I will do all I can to improve their quality of life to help them return to the activities they enjoy. My approach involves creating customized treatment plans based on individuals’ needs and goals.
In addition to my clinical responsibilities, I am involved in research efforts to enhance care for patients undergoing solid organ transplants. My work has focused on immunosuppressive medications, with an emphasis on how they impact patients of different genders and racial backgrounds, as well as pregnancy after a solid organ transplant. I have authored multiple articles published in peer-reviewed journals.
I am also proud to help educate future clinicians in my role as a clinical assistant professor of Internal Medicine.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
