I am a cardiologist and assistant professor of medicine at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
I earned my undergraduate and medical degrees at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. I completed my internal medicine residency training at Duke University Medical Center before returning to Columbus to complete my cardiovascular diseases fellowship at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, where I also was selected to serve as chief cardiology fellow. I pursued a dedicated, additional year of advanced cardiac imaging training performing field-leading research and clinical work in cardiac magnetic resonance (MRI) and cardiac computed tomography (CT).
I have broad clinical interests focusing on general cardiology, valvular heart disease, coronary artery disease, hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and cardiac imaging. I am particularly focused on patient-centric, equitable care to devise treatment plans that best align with each patient’s specific needs and values.

At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
