About Me

As a transplant nephrologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in kidney and pancreas transplantation. I believe in providing an individualized approach to patient care. I focus specifically on each of my patients’ individual needs while implementing goals to improve patient outcomes.

I enjoy working at The Ohio State University because of the collaborative and team environment and the many excellent specialists I am able to call my colleagues.

When I’m not working I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, traveling and watching movies. I also like to spend time enjoying the outdoors and attending Ohio State football games.

He's rapport is excellent! He's knowledgeable and explains the processes, procedures and conditions in a way that's understandable. Plus, Dr. Diez makes sure I understand thoroughly before moving forward. He's very friendly and makes me feel comfortable even when there's not so good news for me. He creates an environment that's less intimidating for me as a patient. I would definitely recommend him to friends and family.
