About Me
As a transplant nephrologist at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, I specialize in kidney and pancreas transplantation. I believe in providing an individualized approach to patient care. I focus specifically on each of my patients’ individual needs while implementing goals to improve patient outcomes.
I enjoy working at The Ohio State University because of the collaborative and team environment and the many excellent specialists I am able to call my colleagues.
When I’m not working I enjoy relaxing with my family, reading, traveling and watching movies. I also like to spend time enjoying the outdoors and attending Ohio State football games.

Consulting and Related Relationships
At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.
As of 09/30/2024, Dr. Diez has reported no relationships with companies or entities.
