About Me

As a head and neck surgeon, I enjoy the challenges of revision surgery. I specialize in managing the care for individuals with difficult sinonasal diseases. I recognize that each patient is different and thus requires an accurate diagnosis with a well-developed and individualized treatment plan.

The Department of Otolaryngology at The Ohio State University is a winning team invested in providing the best patient care in the world. We embrace technology and lead the field in new and minimally invasive approaches to the orbit and skull base. I encourage you to come see what we are all about by making an appointment with one of our physicians.

In my free time, I enjoy relaxing with my family and attending Ohio State football games. I also enjoy the physical challenges of swimming, skiing and cross fit.

On my first visit I think he talked a little too fast for me to grasp all the info. Though some of the issue may have been me being tired.

The doctor always tried his best to accommodate my needs and not push anything onto me.

Reviewed on Nov 05, 2017

I appreciate how quick the dr. and resident dr. were as far as getting me in and out, however, they both talked very fast, asking several questions in a row. sometimes I would still be finishing my answer before I was being asked another. It felt as if there was already a prescribed treatment prepared prior to our discussion such so that our interaction wasn't exactly necessary. We discussed a new medication I would be prescribed in addition to the one I was already taking, but didn't explain why and how the new medication would be helpful or needed in addition to the existing one. When following up with a different dr. for separate issue, the nurse and dr. both asked why I was taking both of these medications and seemed surprised I would be taking both. So further explanation would have been helpful to understand the purpose and rationale of these prescriptions.
