At The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, we support a faculty member’s research and consulting in collaboration with medical device, research and/or drug companies because a faculty member’s expertise can guide important advancements in the practice of medicine and improve patient care. In order to provide effective management of these relationships, the University requires annual disclosures from all faculty members with external interests related to their University responsibilities.

Dr. Ajam is an excellent listener. (This was a referral from my family doctor and although it took several months to get an appointment, it was worth the wait.) He had read my records, but wanted me to tell my story - seemed truly interested. Then he asked how he could help, I needed to know what was wrong and could he treat or help me. He did give me a diagnosis and a treatment plan. He explained things very well. He did give me a diagnosis and a treatment plan. He explained things very well. Both my husband and I felt comfortable with Dr. Ajam and relieved someone finally had answers. We would definitely recommend him.

Although I did not call his office, I did send a message to Dr. Ajam via MyChart asking about a particular issue related to emergency surgery I had had. HE CALLED me. That was above and beyond what I expected, and was pertinent, timely & so helpful for questions the surgeon had.
